The Year of Return is an initiative by the government of Ghana intended to encourage the African diaspora to settle and invest in the continent. There is so much that Zambians can learn from Ghana!

On December 11th, we are fortunate to be able to tap into the knowledge and intelligence of Sena K.. Born in Ghana, Sena is Senior Vice President, Operations at Frontdoor, Inc. [NASDAQ: FTDR], a $1.4B revenue home services technology platform with 2.2 million customers with subscription and on-demand revenues streams. Reporting to the CEO, he is driving operational transformation across the enterprise to fuel a sharp global growth spike, including creating digital technology ventures for future growth and further enhancing the customer experience.

Sena serves as a Board Member with Avista Corporation [NYSE: AVA], an energy company involved in the production, transmission, and distribution of energy as well as other energy-related businesses. He sits on the board at the non-profit VillageReach and is also on the board of the Executive Leadership Council. He holds a patent for a system and method for pool risk assessment.

Sena received his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, his Bachelor of Business Administration (cum laude) from The George Washington University School of Business, and participated in The Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.

This Saturday, in Atlanta, Sena will join like-minded professionals to come together and identify fast-track approaches to increase diaspora engagement in Zambia. We are excited about the opportunity to organize a “year of return’ for Zambians and friends of Zambia in 2022.
