Mental health is a stigma in Zambia / Africa.  Most of us are ignorant about the nuances of mental health problems and, generally, hold a stigma against those living with mental illness. We shy away from it and have a mistaken belief that mental illnesses cannot be treated.  It is not stretching the truth that we might even suffer from it and/or know someone who has mental challenges.  It shouldn’t be a stigma and we need to acknowledge that it exists and it can be treated.  2020 has been harsh on many different levels and we need to take time to assess our mental well-being and ensure that we are taking care of ourselves.  It is with this in mind, that ZLA and AZA invite you to join our Brunch and Learn “Nuances of Mental Wellness” on Saturday, November 21st, 2020.  Our goal is to de~stigmatize and increase awareness of Mental health.  We are honored to have two Zambians specialized in mental health, Dr. Nomsa Chali, out of California, and Ms. Suwilo Nafunkwe, a Lusaka clinical psychotherapist.

Please join us . . you will not be disappointed. Free for the first 100 participants
