Back in 2019, we hosted our Zambia @ 55 Independence Celebrations; this event had an amazing turnout.  We saw so much support from both our Atlantian community as well as the Zambian community back home.  We’d like to deliver massive thanks to everyone who helped make that event all that we dreamed it could be.  The ZLA is so excited to hear that this event helped to connect Dentons and the Zambian Law Firm.

As we all know, finding trustworthy, reliable professionals to aid your business is like finding a diamond in the rough.  Sometimes, all we need are the proper connections to find someone worth working with.  For Dentons, a global legal practice, the Zambia @ 55 event was exactly the right moment for them to meet some members of the Zambian Law Firm of Eric Silwamba, Jalasi & Linyama.  They have since connected and begun working together as a team.

According to Elliott I. Portnoy, global CEO of Dentons, “our launch in Zambia further builds upon our strategy to become the leading Pan-African law firm owned and controlled by Africans. Clients want access to leading talent in the markets where they do business and we can now connect clients to opportunities in Zambia and around the globe.”

Dentons’ blog states that “the new firm, to be branded Dentons Eric Silwamba Jalasi & Linyama, has more than 30 years of history in Zambia and is regarded as one of Zambia’s top law firms with strengths in Banking and Finance, Corporate and Commercial Law, Energy, Environment and Natural Resources, Intellectual Property, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Tax Law.”

We want to send a warm, heartfelt congratulations to our friends at Dentons, as well as the Zambian Law Firm of Eric Silwamba, Jalasi & Linyama.  We hope that your partnership helps to strengthen law practice in Zambia, providing legal advice and support for those who need it.
